Q. What is THEMISEAL?

  • THEMISEAL is the first line of First aid products dedicated to stop bleeding along with unique wound healing properties. THEMISEAL is made for everyday cuts, abrasions, scratches, wounds etc.
     

  • THEMISEAL acts faster towards stops bleeding, minimizes the risk of topical infection through formation of mechanical barrier and maintains moist environment within the wound, which ultimately accelerates the wound healing.

Q. How THEMISEAL works?

  • THEMISEAL controls capillary bleeding from cuts, burns, wounds and abrasions.

  • THEMISEAL forms a complex when it comes in contact with blood and thus exerts haemostatic action within seconds after application. These complexes have a clear gel like structure, which create a physical barrier and minimize the risk of entry of foreign micro-organism as well as reduce oozing.

  • THEMISEAL maintains moist environment with in wound, which speeds up the process of wound healing.

Q. Benefits of THEMISEAL?

Q. How to apply?

 
 
 
  • Clean the affected area with purified water.
     

  • Apply and run a thin film of THEMISEAL gel once or twice daily, morning and evening to entire affected area after cleaning wound with purified water.
     

  • May be covered with a sterile cotton gauze.

Q. What is the Regulatory Status of Themiseal? 

In addition to the CE marking, THEMISEAL has also earned ISO 13485:2003 certification, the international quality management standard for designers and manufacturers of medical devices. This standard requires companies to have a quality management system (QMS) that embraces all activities of the company including: staff training, customer service, order processing, design and development, purchasing and product delivery. As part of this certification, THEMISEAL was also audited for compliance with CMDR (Canadian Medical Device Regulations) and the European MDD (Medical Device Directive).
